Feminine care company Wettrust announced that they had signed an exclusive distribution contract with HeBe, a professional Vietnam distribution company.

Wettrust is in the process of expanding its global market starting with an exclusive distribution contract in China in 2015, and Vietnam is the first exclusive distribution contract for a Southeast Asian country to target K-feminine beauty in earnest.

Currently, category products such as skincare, makeup, and beauty tools have been in the spotlight among young Vietnamese consumers due to the influence of Korean culture, including Korean music, fashion, and drama. Recently, body care and feminine product categories are also gaining popularity. Therefore, the cooperation between Wettrust and Hebe is expected to be an opportunity to introduce various K-feminine care products to consumers in the Vietnam market.

Hebe is a Vietnam distribution company founded in 2016, Hebe is a professional importer of Asian cosmetics from Vietnam and Cambodia. They sell products to online and offline channels through its local market. Moreover, the brands Hebe currently distributing are Clio, Peripera, Mediheal, and Mary & May.

Officials from both companies said, "This contract will provide more consumers with a variety of options for Korean feminine care products, and achieve success in Vietnam and further Southeast Asian markets together," adding, "We hope that this contract will strengthen mutual cooperation and lead to greater growth."
